Mission Statement

The Cold Case Collective is dedicated to ethical, responsible, and impactful cold case investigations. Our mission is to give a voice to the voiceless, seek truth for victims and their families, and bring renewed attention to cases that have gone cold. By partnering with our audience, we create a community of investigators, advocates, and allies working together to uncover new leads and pursue justice. We believe that through collaboration, persistence, and transparency, cases that have gone cold can find light, and justice can be achieved.

Community Code of Conduct

All participants (viewers, members, subscribers, and contributors) must agree to the following:

1. Respect for All Individuals

• No doxxing or public sharing of private addresses, phone numbers, or personal data

• No harassment or direct outreach to victims’ families, potential witnesses, or suspects

2. Lawful Participation Only

• No trespassing, hacking, impersonation, or illegal investigation tactics

• All information submitted must be obtained legally and ethically

3. Contribution Guidelines

• Submit research, documents, and tips via official channels only

• Include sources and cite where possible

• No plagiarized, AI-generated, or deliberately misleading content

4. Zero Tolerance Policy

• Any violation of these terms may result in a permanent ban from the community, termination of membership, and potential legal action

Use of Submissions

By submitting a tip or idea, you agree:

• To provide your name and contact information for follow-up, even if you choose to remain anonymous publicly

• You grant The Cold Case Collective the right to use the content in media and promotional materials

• You understand submissions do not entitle you to financial compensation

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the information you submit

Member Agreement

All members must agree to:

• Adhere to the Community Code of Conduct

• Not claim investigative actions on behalf of the Collective without written consent

• You understand submissions do not entitle you to financial compensation

• Accept that their involvement is for entertainment, education, and advocacy—not law enforcement
